With biochar innovation company, Ecoera AB, biochar trials are now in full process using Bioagropellets(tm) - formula R56 - as source for a biochar high in element such as potassium and phosphorous. The trials have been conducted in South Swedish fields to the BIOAGRO Energy facility and are made on sandy soils with low production output. The trials so far, have shown a good root ingrowth from the Barley, sown.
This is the first large-scale biochar trial in Sweden, and also coupled to carbon sequestration.
